Sal Flores enters his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Falcon softball program, bringing over 13 years of coaching experience to the field. Flores works closely with both outfielders and infielders, contributing to the team’s defensive development and overall game strategy.

Before joining Coalinga College, Flores spent six years as the lead assistant coach at Coalinga High School, where he played a key role in player development and program growth. He also currently serves as the Head Coach for the Clovis Rockets 18U travel team, a position he has held for the past three years, after serving as an assistant coach with the program for three years prior.

Flores brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and consistency to the Falcons' staff, making him a valued asset to the program. Outside of softball, he has served as a Correctional Officer for the past 20 years, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to structure, discipline, and mentorship.
