Coalinga College Softball Earns Prestigious National Academic Recognition

Coalinga, CA — Coalinga College is proud to announce that its softball team has been named to the Easton/NFCA Top 20 Academic Teams for the 2024–25 academic year, earning a 17th‑place national ranking with an exceptional Team GPA of 3.69. Notably, Coalinga College stands as the highest‑ranked California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) institution on this national list—an extraordinary milestone for the program and for community college softball.

In addition to the team's academic standing, an impressive 10 out of the 14 rostered student-athletes achieved NFCA All‑America Scholar‑Athlete honors, reflecting their individual commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
