Coalinga College's Jase Dewey has officially qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR), taking place June 15-21 in Casper, Wyoming.
Jase is a 2023 Riverdale High School graduate, where he earned a 4.0 GPA, and began his college career at Coalinga College in the Presidential Scholarship Program. He has consistently demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically.
During the 2024–2025 rodeo season, Dewey placed in every college rodeo he entered. Earlier this season, he qualified for the American Contender Tournament, earning a bid to accumulate points towards a spot in The American Rodeo at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Dewey was recognized as Coalinga College Student Athlete of the Week three times and recently earned his associate's degree in business administration with a 3.93 GPA.
In the fall of 2025, Dewey will transfer to Fresno State to continue his rodeo career while pursuing a bachelor's degree in agricultural business.
