Coalinga College has named Olivia Marsing from the softball team and baseball's Ryne Yoshimura its Student-Athletes of the Month for March.

Olivia Marsing, Softball (Freshman, Catcher/Third Base, Ventura HS / Ventura, CA)
Olivia had a big month, hitting .450 with 11 singles, 3 doubles, and 4 home runs. She totaled 16 RBIs and scored 12 runs, coming through time and time again for her team. More than just the numbers, Olivia's confidence and poise at the plate helped lead the way all month long.

Ryne Yoshimura, Baseball (Freshman, Utility, Waipahu HS / Waipahu, HI)
Ryne has led the state in hit by pitches for most of the season and currently sits in second place at the end of the month with 25. He continued his amazing rate of getting on base by going 10 for 34 with 4 RBI and 4 walks to go with 7 more HBPs, keeping his season on base percentage at .512. 5 runs and 5 stolen bases round out his impressive stat line for the month.
