
The West Hills College Coalinga Falcon Volleyball Team heads in to the final two weeks of the season in third place in the Central Valley Conference. The Falcons are 10-3 in conference and 14-7 overall.
Last week saw the Falcons on the road against the Merced Blue Devils on a mid-week battle that went a thrilling 5 sets. Powered behind 18 Kills from Sophomore Middle Hitter Mia Bouttavong-Mayberry, 15 Kills from Outside Hitter Andrea Lopez, and 10 Kills from Fallon Alviso, the Falcons battled to secure third place in conference. Sophomore Setter Isabella Galang mathced a season-high 52 assists and Freshman Libero Felicia Ruguian picked up a season-high 23 Digs in the win.
The Friday night match featured a sweep of West Hills College Lemoore 25-14, 25-16, 25-19. Led with 12 Kills from Andrea Lopez, and 9 Kills from Mia Bouttavong-Mayberry, the Falcons cruised to the 3-0 victory and the season sweep of West Hills Lemoore.
