May captures CVC Gold Glove award, tops list of seven Falcons to earn all-conference honors

Following the close of the 2019 West Hills College Coalinga baseball season, the Falcons had seven players named to the All-Central Valley Conference postseason team.

Heading the list is sophomore Theo May. He was named the CVC's Gold Glove Award winner at first base as well as an all-conference honorable mention selection. In 255 total chances, May committed just 7 errors and compiled a .973 fielding percentage. With the bat, he hit .295 on the season with 3 home runs and 26 RBI.

May was joined on the All-CVC honorable mention list by freshman shortstop Eddie Rodriguez (.295 BA, 41 H, 10 2B, 18 RBI), freshman outfielder Eric Hernandez (.253 BA, 2 HR, 13 RBI), sophomore outfielder Ryan Potter (.261 BA, 40 H, 26 R, 12 2B, 21 RBI, 20 BB), sophomore utility Andrew Di-giovambattista (.280 BA, 35 H, 20 RBI, 17 BB), freshman designated hitter Zac McDaniel (.289 BA, 15 BB, 10 RBI), and freshman utility Hank Chen (.394 BA, 13-for-33, 10 BB, 6 RBI).
